A Graphic Novel is a book made up of various comics. It uses a lot of detail to add to the effect of the characters in a comic book style. It makes you feel as though the character(s) are moving in each of the scenes as if they are alive. 'Graphic Novel' is mainly used as a broad comic. This concludes using fiction and non- fiction. They are a sequential piece of art, this adds to the boldness of each of the comics with each of the scenes. http://www.getgraphic.org/whatisagraphicnovel.php
I like this image because it shows a lot of detail in the characters. Also the characters in this graphic novel look realistic which shows how much time it has taken to create this graphic novel. I like the fact that this page doesn't use that many boxes or words. This is because it shows that the drawings tell the story on their own instead of using words all the time. I like the shadows of the characters as it shows their facial expressions/body posture throughout the scenes. It gives the realism that most graphic novels use black and white instead of colour.

I like the way that the characters have been drawn as they show what the character is thinking. I also like the fact that there isn't very many scenes which tells the story. It looks as though the characters are moving like an animation in this comic which is another reason why I like it. I like the perspective in one of the scenes which shows the realism of the whole scene. It makes you feel as though you are in the comic/scene with the way that the artist has drawn the scene.

It is really nice to see some more in-depth research from you Emma. It would be a good idea to add in a little information about the artists behind these works.
